Hoosiers at risk of losing their homes to foreclosure are encouraged to attend a free mortgage foreclosure workshop tomorrow in Evansville.

The one-hour workshop will take place at WorkOne, 700 E. Walnut St., starting at 2 p.m.

The workshop is one of several to be conducted across the state through a partnership between the Indiana Attorney General’s Volunteers In Service To America (VISTA) members, the Indiana Foreclosure Prevention Network and the Department of Workforce Development WorkOne Centers.

Homeowners will receive information on avoiding mortgage foreclosure. Professionals in the housing industry, including counselors, realtors and lenders, are also encouraged to attend.

Among those scheduled to be at the workshop are Deputy Attorney General Abby Kuzma and Indiana Attorney General’s Office VISTA member Alison Plavchak.

Registration is not required. For more information about the workshop, call 317-234-7097 or go online to www.in.gov/attorneygeneral/2417.
