The communications and web design firm PixelMEDIA has awarded young entrepreneurs with financial and professional assistance.

The founders of web design company PixelMEDIA have given back to a new generation of entrepreneurs by presenting their Web Marketing Services Award, according to a report from Seacoast Online.

The award was given to three entrepreneurs, including Christopher Suprock, winner of the 2009 Paul J. Holloway Prize in the Innovation-to-Market Competition from the University of New Hampshire.

In 2007, Suprock founded Suprock Technologies, which creates innovative technological tools for the manufacturing sector.

He’s now received more than $15,000 in assistance for web design and communications from PixelMEDIA, helping his business grow and gain notoriety.

“Our experience was really informative and they really showed us the ropes to what it takes to reach a community of online users,” Suprock told the website.

End-users may have come to depend on Google for all their searching needs, but many merchants and vendors have become equally if not more dependent on Google for their advertising needs. Lucky for them Google is not letting its dalliances with operating systems and smartphones distract it from investing in its ad business. Datamation gets all the details.


Google continues to invest in DoubleClick, the ad management system it bought in 2007 for a whopping $3.1 billion. Today Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) released a major upgrade to the ad server that includes a new interface and new features designed to make it easier for publishers to manage ad campaigns across multiple Web sites, including when they want them to appear.
