Determining the right keywords to help your website SEO is a fine art. Assigning the proper keywords to your web pages can have tremendous implications on the success of your SEO or PPC campaign. The first keyword you may normally think of is usually not the one you should use. In fact, “keyword” in terms of SEO is a misleading misnomer. EVANSVILLE — Quietly and slowly, Eldorado, Ill.-based Banterra Bank began making inroads into the Evansville market in 2006 by opening a small commercial lending office in Lakeside Commons off Lynch and North Green River roads and ATMs at several area Casey’s general stores.

Its customer base began growing, and Banterra had two full-service banks built: One in Cross Pointe Commerce Center, where the banking center opened in July 2009, and across from the Apple Center in Newburgh, which opened in 2007.

Now, Banterra reveals plans to open a third full-service bank in the area, this one on Evansville’s West Side at St. Joseph Avenue and Delaware Street.

The location presently is a Don’s Claytons DCI Fine Drycleaning outlet, which expects to close Saturday.

I was discussing the current state of the mortgage and real estate market last week with someone when the topic of loan modification came up. The person asked:

Are loan modifications real?

And I couldnt help but chuckle. My reply:

Of course they are real. Wait. I think they are real. Ok, I admit it I actually dont know if they are real or not because it seems like most of the people I talk to who consider a loan modification end up going with either a short sale or a foreclosure as a better solution for their situation.

Loan Modification: What People Dont Know

There are plenty of things about loan modifications that people dont know and they certainly arent getting any wiser about them from watching the 6 oclock news.

For REALTORS, running their business requires diligent time management that allows them to make the most of their days. However, whether you work to live or live to work, taking a day off from time to time can be both relaxing and positively impact one’s business.

Not every company that operates has to have public liability as part of their business insurance package, but the majority of companies that have property that a customer can physically access need to have this coverage in case of an accident.

If we knew when accidents were going to happen, then we would change the scenario and prevent them from happening. Instead we have no idea when something tragic is going to befall us, so we need to buy coverage in policies that will protect our assets and interests in the event of the unthinkable happening.

If you own property where you perform your job, and other people come to that property as clients or customers, then at any moment one of these people could possibly be injured while they are on your property, and you would be liable for the damages they suffer.

All it takes is for someone to trip on a rug, and they could fall and injure themselves, and damage some piece of personal property they may have been carrying when they fell. Read more…

House hunters know they can find properties for sale on the Internet. In fact, 93% of home buyers start their search online. There are literally thousands of real estate websites and property search engines that allow buyers to see MLS listings from the convenience of a computer. So why is a professional real estate agent necessary?

Sure, nine out of 10 buyers may find homes they want to see on the web, but that is only the first step in actually purchasing a property. Next there’s visiting the properties, researching comparables to determine offer price, getting preapproved for financing, submitting an official offer, dealing with counter offers, negotiating final price and terms, setting up an inspection, having a real estate attorney review the contract, getting approved for a mortgage loan, filing the necessary paperwork for title transfer… shall we go on? If youre an agent working today, then you already know the importance of a good web presence.

What you may not know, however, is what constitutes good.

If you have a website, take a look at this list to make sure youre not falling victim to technology. After all, having a megaphone is one thing; using it wisely is another.

Does your website scream #1 anything? Stop it. Sure, you may be the number one agent in your market, and you may have famous clients. But your potential clients dont care. They only want to make sure that you will help them find a home or sell their existing home.

Whos the focus here anyway: your ego or the client?

Justjust dont play music in the background.
